Description in English: This work corroborates the thematic breadth of the Caribbean writers, their resounding ways of narrating and the unclassifiable freshness of blissful prose of a majority of age. No topic seems to retain them. Nor do they flee from them. They can fantasize, assume the immediate world or go after the dumps of the universal, without losing the effectiveness of latent or open humor. They leave, undoubtedly, well freed of their adventures, confirming the thickness of a narrative shower in taking out the language to itself. They maintain with their contributions to the story the hierarchy of a Caribbean scriptural tradition initiated by José Félix Fuenmayor and strengthened by Álvaro Cepeda Samudio, Gabriel García Márquez, Germán Espinosa, Marvel Moreno, and Jairo Mercado, among others.
