Resumen

Let her die is the literary version of the miniseries broadcasted by TeleCaribe under the same name. This piece narrates the life, musical work, and death of afro-colombian bullerengue singer Juana Emilia Herrera, known as “niña Emilia”. It is a trip from the afterlife through the voice of the protagonist: a voyage full of playfulness, dance, sadness, love, melancholy, but must of all, resilience. The book also addresses the making and production of the miniseries, which is without a doubt a landmark in the history of the regional channel.
