Description in English: Childhood and STEM skills: tools for their development is a textbook that contains playful activities for parents and teachers to accompany children from the age of 4 years and above in the world of creation with technology and, in general, in STEM education. The activities are aimed at developing computational thinking, understanding the operation and usefulness of simple machines, as well as educational robotics, through play and interaction. The simplicity of concepts, the didactics used and the structuring of each of the activities allow parents and teachers to be the main recipients and, through collaborative work with children, they have the possibility of becoming competent in science, technology, engineering and mathematics from an early age. This text is the result of the research project "Mobile Laboratory for the development of STEM skills for graduates and students of early childhood education at the Universidad del Magdalena", which was funded by the FRIDA program (Regional Fund for Digital Innovation in Latin America and the Caribbean) and the Universidad del Magdalena.
