Description in English: In these times, society is facing a new reality that has modified the forms and patterns of behavior of people and organizations as a consequence of the Covid-19 pandemic. This situation has made demands on health systems in terms of their capacities to respond to the needs of the context. Considering the above, this book explores a set of experiences in health systems in the local context such as the application of psychology in the hospital clinical context, models of timeliness in the allocation of appointments in the rheumatology service, adherence to patient safety guidelines in the hospitalization service, the knowledge of medical professionals about the care route for women victims of violence and restoration of rights, the knowledge of physicians about the protocol for care and intervention in sexual abuse in children and teenagers, the strategies for assuming clinical diagnosis and adherence to medical treatment, anxiety and depression as risk factors in patients with long hospital stays. Based on these experiences, challenges for the improvement of the health service in the territory are analyzed.
