Description in English: "STEAM stories for programming" is a compilation of several stories created in conjunction with early childhood education teachers who attended the first cohort of the STEAM Skills Development diploma course. Each story is used as a mediating strategy that includes STEAM vocabulary and practical activities for motivating children to code with ScratchJr. The activities are aimed at developing computational thinking, understanding the operation and usefulness of simple or compound machines, as well as educational robotics, through literature, games, and interaction. This text complements the work "Childhood and STEM skills: tools for your development" and results from the research project "Mobile Laboratory for the development of STEM skills for graduates and students of early childhood education" at the University of Magdalena, developed between October 2018 and September 2019, financed by the FRIDA program (Regional Fund for Digital Innovation in Latin America and the Caribbean) and the Universida del Magdalena.
