Description in English: This work results from the research project "Underlying Conceptions of educational quality in the development plans of the Department of Magdalena: Traceability of territorial educational policies." It contributes to reflection on the territorial problems of the education sector through a critical reading of said plans. This analytical document is expected to demonstrate the conceptions and directions for improving the territory's educational quality. With the systematic review of the development plans that have guided the educational realities of the Magdalena department from 1995 to 2020, conceptions of education, educational quality, educational development, primary diagnoses associated with the educational sector, management strategies of educational quality, guiding policies, strategic objectives associated with the education sector, concepts of educational coverage and efficiency, monitoring and evaluation mechanisms and criteria, participation strategies, and identity traits of ethnic groups that are recognized in such plans will be found in this book.
