Description in English: From the Cheshire Cat to The Ice Age, from Aesop's fables to Free Willy, and probably from ancient cave art, a fertile branch of fiction and imagination grew vigorously by giving voices to animals. Because they are naked (and because they do not actually speak), talking animals remind us of our own primitive innocence, curiosity, and naivety. This little graphic story is based on those principles: children wondering about the world, discovering an invisible but always present life. Children innocently exploring and raising tender questions about the world around them. Today, lending a voice to animals almost exclusively means letting them express their vulnerability. If the cave paintings represented the inexhaustible power of nature, of which man was barely a spectator (not even a secondary actor), today we live in a civilization that grew by breaking or diverting natural rhythms in its path, and that needs to refine its ears more and more, to resort more and more to innocence and naivety, to repair those natural rhythms. It's fortunate that we haven't destroyed the entire natural world yet. What remains of that world has been enough to know, or to intuit, how much has been lost and what needs to be taken care of.
