Description in English: The selected texts reflect the different poetics that govern the development of the genre in the country. Fear, disagreements, alienation, violence, and hopelessness are among the recurring themes. In the treatment of their affairs, one can observe a tendency to flee from realism in favor of fantastic and futuristic expressions. This demonstrates that men and women continue to be beings who love invention and ingenuity. Those selected are professors, employees, managers and graduates of the University of Magdalena. However, it is worth highlighting the authors' control, regardless of their experience in the genre's dynamic landscape or the status of their stories and their recent developments. The quantity and quality of these stories confirm the Caribbean and Magdalena as fertile literary territories. Despite lacking editors' support, these plots maintain significant validity.
