Resumen

This work is a contribution to the academic and corporate field in regards to Social Corporate Responsibility (SCR). It presents an integrated analysis of the knowledge, application and communication of SCR, since it has proven to be useful both scientifically and in practice in the tourism sector by means of studies and experiences in hotel companies in the Caribbean region of Colombia. This work intends to raise awareness among business owners so that their decisions in terms of SCR promote a more responsible and sustainable development of tourism in their closest sphere of influence.
