Description in English: The elaboration of an intercultural curriculum for Afro-Colombian communities is based on the conviction of being able to revalue what is their own, crystallized in the knowledge that has been inherited through the spoken word from one generation to the next. The work explores the meanings that these populations attribute to their cultural legacy, serving as a catalyst for the educational processes that take place in their schools. This knowledge has not been taken INSERT INTO account in curriculum design processes and can be considered an enriching contribution to the educational proposal for the contextualization of a meaningful and relevant education.In this sense, the curriculum, built from the expectations of the communities, strengthens their socio-cultural and historical identities in a distinctive way, as part of the civic exercise of understanding and accepting the differences within our Colombian society. This approach fosters diverse and plural relations among existing cultures, under conditions of respect, tolerance, and solidarity
