Description in English: The book is a compilation of research presented at the Third Colloquium of Researchers on Religious Fact in Colombia and Ibero-America, entitled "Pluralidad religiosa y de cultos en Colombia e Iberoamérica: investigaciones recientes sobre el hecho, la cultura, el actor y la libertad religiosa en 2020" (Religious plurality and cults in Colombia and Ibero-America: recent research on the fact, culture, actor and religious freedom in 2020). The research covers various disciplinary fields, such as history, theology, anthropology, architecture, archaeology, sociology, philosophy, law, human rights, political science, education and economics. Interdisciplinary approaches were employed, such as the analysis of funerary monuments to study changes in religious practices, analysis of institutional archives to understand legal and institutional history, review of press and social networks to determine opinions of relevant analysts, and study of public opinion trends on the religious sector. The content of the book is organised INSERT INTO seven general themes proposed by participating scholars, addressing contemporary aspects of the religious phenomenon in Colombia and Ibero-America. Colombian research groups and academics from Chile, Mexico, Peru, Argentina and Spain were invited to contribute to the colloquium.
