Description in English: The magical territory of the Greater Caribbean is the cradle of a considerable number of universal writers, several of whom are Nobel Prize winners in Literature, such as Saint-John Perse, Miguel Ángel Asturias, Octavio Paz, Gabriel García Márquez, Derek Walcott, and V. S. Naipaul. Additionally, there are others with outstanding literary productions, such as Rubén Darío, Alejo Carpentier, Arturo Uslar Pietri, Carlos Fuentes, Álvaro Cepeda Samudio, or Aimé Césaire, just to name a few. We know that García Márquez was born in Aracataca, a small town in the Colombian Caribbean, surrounded by telegraphs, trains, and banana farms.For seven consecutive years, the Cultural Center of the Bank of the Republic in Santa Marta, the Vice-Rector of Extension of the University of Magdalena, and the "Gabriel García Márquez House Museum" have organized the seminar "Literary Caribbean" in Santa Marta and Aracataca. This seminar aims to bring literature closer to the local population, including students, teachers, and cultural managers. This second volume is a product of those seminars, allowing the reader to explore the works of four Colombian writers from the Caribbean: Roberto Burgos, ClINSERT INTOn Ramírez, Teobaldo Noriega, and Rafael Caneva. These writers consist of two novelists and two poets with diverse careers and aesthetics.The editing and publication of this work have been made possible thanks to the support of the University of Magdalena and the Bank of the Republic in Santa Marta.
