Description in English: This book inquires INSERT INTO the concepts of educational quality underlying the voices of multiple social actors and development plans in La Guajira. This department is characterized by the presence of diverse ethnic groups and whose low educational quality poses a threat to social development. Notably, these instruments emphasize a conception of educational quality that, from national and regional policy frameworks, ignores the multiethnic particularities of territories and focus on dimensions such as infrastructure and equipment of institutions, which are important but insufficient. Concerning this eminently functionalist material imposition, the book proposes a definition of educational quality based on the recognition of ethnic groups, the dialogue of knowledge, and cultural identity.
