Description in English: Creation of shared value in cooperative organizations of the colombian Caribbean region is a current book, the result of joint research that shows the strategic nature of decision-making and the actions of managers in cooperative organizations to respond to the demands of society. The creation of shared value proposed by Michael Porter and Mark R. Kramer is conceived as the capacity that organizations have to achieve changes in their internal structures and operations that allow them to significantly increase their performance and contribute to the socioeconomic problems of the territory where they operate. As an area of knowledge, the creation of shared value is very recent, and it is a commitment that invites governments and organizations to redefine products and services, reconfigure productivity in the value chain, and in training local clusters; aspects that give the opportunity to promote joint work between various actors.
